It takes 16 signatures from different officials in
various government offices in the Philippines to set up a doctor to practice in a charity dental
clinic. Then it is only good for a year when the papers (and fees) need to be
submitted again.
The taxes here are amazing. Taxes on a rental unit,
car, leases, charity donations, imports, exports, there is a tax or fee for
everything.
