There are four elevators in our high rise building. Inevitably one is not working, sometimes two, and every once in awhile three are not working. That just means the odds of one having a problem on the elevator goes up.
Early in the morning on our way to work the elevator went down to the bottom floor and only opened the first set of doors.

The first doors won't close all the way and the elevator is not going to move.

So Jeffrey tries the the phone button - no answer, so he settles for holding the alarm button.
A security guard not yet in uniform uses a key and opens the door for us. One elevator down for the day. It was just our turn.
