Levi Little's Eagle Project

A few months ago, I received an email from Levi Little looking for an eagle project to do in Africa. I thought it was a great idea and after conferring with Sister Woodbury (Humanitarian missionary) and Levi, it was decided to help out the OSU children's home as this is Sister Woodbury's pet project.

Levi decided to get school supplies and all kinds of diapers for infants to adults. He made arrangements with Susan and Rebekah to bring two 50 lb suitcases with them to Accra. After collecting all the supplies his parents dropped off the suitcases with Susan on their way from California to Rexburg, Idaho to see a new grandson. The extra bags brought complications but by the grace of God everyone and everything arrived.

On January 6th we met the Woodbury's at the OSU Children's Home, got papers signed, and gave the managers the school supplies.

Very nice the school found a long table to use.

Two suitcases full of supplies

Unloading and sorting

Manger noting and accepting supplies

Making all paperwork legit

Levi's name will be in their donation book for years.

Special permission given to take pictures - without the children's faces

What is your name?

Susan asking each girl her name

It was a good morning and fun to watch Susan interact with the children, she is a natural nurturer and will always take the time to talk with kids.

We then went off to the  art market (without the Woodbury's) down by the ocean front.
