One fantastic thing about going on a mission as a senior couple is the closeness that develops, deepens, and grows with your companion. I love the relationship that deepens between Jeffrey and I while we serve missions. It is also noticeable in the other senior missionaries around us.
At the Sweetheart dance on Valentines day that Elder and Sister Derr set up, that love and closeness was brought out in public. The only kiss on the floor I observed was cut off by another head in my picture, oh well. Jeffrey had a ton of work to catch up on, so I went and took pictures of the couples who showed up.
