Took off at 4 am to meet YSA

Walker had an epic day planned for the Young Single Adults from our ward and stake. When we arrived at the church they were trying to fit people in a van that clearly did not have enough seats. Jeffrey and I told them they could take our car and we would get a taxi home so they would have more room in our car. Walker would absolutely not let us go home and took all the drinks out of a cooler and passed them out to the people in the van to free up more room. They brought little primary chairs out to the van to put in the isle to make more seats and sat everyone three to two seats. The back of our car had other coolers in it and boxes of food which made the back seat ride up so they were tipped forward a bit. - but no one complained once about the squished conditions. I think there were twenty two young people in the van and our car along with the two of us and the van driver. There may have been more as I couldn't keep track.

It was a fun, laughter filled ride up to the Volte Region where the landscape got greener the further we traveled. Jeffrey and I learned that Walker had never driven on windy mountain roads before. He did a good job for a first time driver in the mountains. Though he has a license, I don't think he drives very often. Anything is better than me driving. The potholes were an adventure ride all by themselves.

After traveling four and a half or five hours we arrived! The minute we popped out of the car and van, Prince wanted to have a brownie break. Margaret was not on this trip so there was no one to tell him to wait for lunch. The kids all gathered round the box of brownies and cookies and had them almost finished in record time.

Prince in white shorts and red cap had the brownies and cookies opened in about five minutes

I have to admit, it was gratifying to see their appreciation of my baking efforts.
