Nice Working Site

We come and leave a beautiful compound that has the temple of Accra at it's center every day. When I get cold, I walk around the compound and look at the beautiful flowers, the peaceful temple and enjoy the ambiance of this place. The temple is only opened for missionaries who are leaving on a mission. There are only a few people in the temple, they aren't there for very long.

Walking around the Accra temple at night

It is really odd not to watch bus loads of people coming to enjoy and serve in the temple. The patron house is mostly empty and not one bus has pulled up. The MTC has a few bodies in it, but the gate is mostly closed.  It will be nice to see a more normal. It will be a privilege to enter again.
Quote from the ChurchofJesusChrist.org site:

"Temples are literally houses of the Lord. They are holy places of worship where individuals make sacred covenants with God. Throughout history, the Lord has commanded His people to build temples. The Church [of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints] is working to build temples all over the world to make temple blessings more available for a greater number of Heavenly Father’s children."
