Camp Accommodations

Diana's family set a tent in the Lodge for Kipper to hang out in. Later someone else's tent was put in too.
Steven's family slept just fine in their tents.

The graduating seniors and fresh college boys put up hammocks to use - but the first rain shower cut that idea short. Pretty soon all the hammocks were in the Lodge for night time. Some tents went up and some trailers were in the parking lot. Some slept on cots or air mattresses in the lodge.

My sleeping arrangement was on a king size bed in a cabin about 3 miles up the road by Causey Dam. I had hot running water for my shower and it was very quiet on the 3rd floor. We had a great view of the humming birds where the lady of the house set up feeders. They were about 2 feet away from us. Enough to almost feel the humming all the birds made.

This is my ideal of "roughing it." Comfortable bed, hot shower and then enjoy the day!

A few families who live close went home at night to their usual beds and came back early in the morning to enjoy the camp with everyone there.
