We had a lunch with the Kilcourse family, Andrew's family's and Michael's family. Faith and Bella Kilcourse have been favorites of Jeffrey and I because of their wonderful compassion and kindness to others. Makynlee's actual birthday was on Sunday, so it was a tea party for sure - that we served lemonade.
Faith and Bella were very nice and inclusive with the little girls. Bella let Isla play with her hair for a long time. We all got to know the Kilcourse family and enjoyed spending time with them. Faith and Bella wanted to watch a slide show [the reason they all came over] I had made for the young women of girls camp. Faith ended up downloading a lot of pictures to a shared album (I can add pictures I find of the two of them) before they went home.
Makynlee loved opening new presents and I made sure Isla had a few presents also. The flashing rabbit ears with bunny tail and bow tie were the biggest hit. Makynlee looked a little strange with the bunny ears and butterfly wings. But hey, you are only five once!

We had make your own burritos/salad/taco bar and lemonade. Whip cream and fruit for dessert - and of course there were the cupcakes. Bella and Faith decorated for their family, Isla and Makynlee the others. |
