All of the accommodations and service was top of the line at the Intrepid camp! At night we enjoyed a ten course meal (if we wanted) all served on china and attention to every detail. Artists must have been in the kitchen as every dish had little signature swirls and dots and embellishes. The flavors were great. We were entertained by Maasai tribal members giving us dances weaving between the tables at dinner. Most of the people in the camp were from OGC area offices in Africa. A few tables at dinner held people from somewhere in Europe.
In the afternoon on the first day the ladies enjoyed a chilly pool for water aerobics, every lunch was delicious with many choices of hot and cold dishes, vegetables, salads, fruit, bread, and drinks brought individually.
The "tents" were big and spacious with all the details of good living. In the mornings we would be awakened with a hot drink of our choice at whatever time we wanted. Leaving on safari's at 6:30 am meant early wake ups in the cold mornings. It was all so lovely!
