Dress is African
On Fridays the OGC office in Africa West Area puts on their traditional dress or something (like a tie) that is African. Last Friday we celebrated Esther's birthday so it was a really great Friday.
The office staff all went to Moka's Resto Café which is a Lebanese Restaurant filled with very tasty healthy choices.
Don't Miss the Drinks!
Esther ordered the Chunky fruit drink |
Some of us ordered the rainbow drink: Avocado, mango, and strawberry - delicious! |
Richard ordered the mango and Emmy ordered the Strawberry - so good! |
The Food is Unique and Delicious
If you are ever in Accra, don't miss the great food and wonderful choices at this restaurant.
Salad for Sharon - pineapple, shrimp and other great ingredients |
Sister Eastmond got a bowl of meat and vegetables with a eatable lid |
Her lid was lifted, Brother Eastmond's was cut away and then a yogurt mixture was poured over it all. |
This is the only shot I have of Sharon (next to Elder Eastmond) the entire day! One little glimpse.
Sharon went in her own car, came a little late and left a little early, so I didn't actually see much of her. She did tell me that it would be nice to bring take-out to Jeffrey because he had a cold coming on and didn't want to pass it on to others. Later, Jeffrey was grateful for the pizza.
Close As I Came to Getting a Picture
It was the first time we had been out as office staff to lunch. The Burtons are new - Hello - and Esther had a birthday - Happy Birthday. I kept trying to get a picture of all the staff together, but kept missing because someone wasn't there or was coming or had just left.....anyway back at the office we got a picture of what staff was there, not Jeffrey, no Sharon, but oh well, something!
I, Emmy Burton, Richard Burton, Esther Abuyeh, Irene Eastmond, and Neil Eastmond
Sharon Kwaw and Jeffrey are missing - Maybe next Friday!
