Hanging out, hiking, and a turtle story

Matthew and Debbie made a wonderful chicken curry dinner on Sunday night. We all enjoyed being laughing and talking.

On Monday Opa and the kids - with dads, Briona and Debbie, went on a hike on Shell Ridge. It has lots of fossils (shells) on the rocks and is famous for having been on the seabed at one time in its ancient history.

At home again on Monday the kids found plenty of adventures in the back yard. But the 'ride' with Andrew and the turtle story would have to be experienced as there is no way to describe his technique. It is memorable and his rides and stories are always a hit. Though sometimes its a rocket, or motorcycle, or train - it always has an anticipation, and always repeats over and over - interesting that the kids keep coming back.

And then everyone packed up and went home........
