Now it's prep for the Adams Reunion

I'm not sure why June was picked as the month to have reunions but there it is. Andrew called forth in January to schedule a reunion as he could tell there were transitions for many in the family. It turns out he will be moving to North Carolina in September so good thing for us that he was thinking ahead.

It turned out that the two girls had already been in California the week before for business and weddings and could not turn around and come again. Kelsi and Nate were undecided about their travel plans - they seem to keep changing. We figured they were headed to Idaho but at the last minute they could not come because of the end of the quarter requirements in his job. We ended up with three families out of the six.

Andrew, Michael, and Matthew's families met on a Saturday, Sunday, Monday for a Juneteenth reunion. We had a barbecue at the Nausin's, a hotdog and som'ore roast at our house, after church we had a picnic in the park at Newhall and a fun dinner hosted by Matthew and Debbie and then a hike and movie on Monday before they headed out for home. It was so much fun!!

Now in hindsight.....take two will be Kelsi and Nate's family on July 7th weekend with the same exact activities and hopefully Andrew and Michael's family too... then number three in September - the plan is to have a mini reunion with Rebekah, Mike with Rachel and Andrew's family (because tAndrew and Briona are visiting Utah for a week before they leave for North Carolina) and Jeffrey and I plan to visit at the same time. Isn't life good?!!

Grandma Nausin is spoiling us - she made dessert!
