Lore Sisters Tea Party

What a fun time we had today! Susan, Laura, and I went to Sharon's house to meet up with Diana and Donna there. Sharon had a beautiful table all set with great munchies like sugarless Scottish shortbread, cucumber sandwiches, sugarless jams and clotted cream to go over sugarless English scones, three different kinds of cheeses, apple and peach slices, grapes, and nuts. Of course she had a basket of various tea bags and also Crio Brew chocolate.

All the sisters dressed up and Donna brought us all crowns. Sharon went all out and gave each of us a piece of cloth to act like a tartan or scarf, Diana made all of us a decorative pin to go on it.  Sharon also made each of us a little bag to carry essentials in. I had to laugh as she embodied each one with our name and number. So mine says Linda Ann 1 of 12. Jeffrey's says Jeffrey married to 1 of 12. Susie is 2 of 12 etc. I was just laughing! Each of our place settings had a fan we could decorate and we all had fingerless mitts.

The talk was mostly about the different places we are going on the cruise and a carry over from last night about the various ancestors that live in those places and their life stories. Diana is a fountain of knowledge about our royal lines and a saint (St. Margaret) and some of the notorious and infamous ancestors we have which I'm not mentioning.

Coming home Laura, Susie and I stopped off to get some cording for my YW project and bought some clothes too. I am so excited for the cruise coming up and being with my family has made the anticipation so much more!
