Snack and Chat

 Susie explained that the Lore's frequently get together for a Snack and Chat to meet, celebrate, or discuss family matters. On this Sunday, the Snack and Chat was to be at Allen's house to celebrate the three brothers who were all born on September 9th and also Diana whose birthday is on the 7th. It also happens to be President Nelson's birthday - he is now 99 years old. David was nine years old when his twin brothers Allen and Dean were born. 

Andrew had come to visit Susie's house because he had dropped off Briona, Amber, and Tracie at the airport. He had visited a friend from his mission field who lived in Ogden and came to be with us until the Snack and Chat.  I thought that was great as I wouldn't have to drive down to Draper to drop Jeffrey off for his trek across the country with Andrew. 

Andrew is a fun person to talk to and he was chatting with Steven, Polly, and Susan. I got a little bit of a chat to talk about his family. He said they had landed and were now heading to Briona's mom's house.

Allen's house was filled with people and as the afternoon went on, more and more people came. When Donald got there, all the siblings except David had arrived. Shaunna got her dad on the phone and we took a picture with John holding Dave's picture up. I am looking forward to having quiet moments to talk with each sibling on the cruise in October. It will be fun, interesting, and educational. This day was very nice.
