Not Black but Big Friday

Matthew told us his family would have a leisurely morning and then come to Concord. The day was not leisurely for me as I knew we would have lots of company later in the day. Twenty people showed up for dinner.

Meanwhile, we had a really nice day with families showing up a few at a time. There was a big soccer game at the school with dads and kids - though some liked the slide better. Kids played in the back yard with Yukon and they all went on a long treasure hunt. By the time it was dark, most of our company came. We had three tables for everyone with a Prime Rib dinner. Ruth brought ice-cream so we had pie and ice-cream for dessert. The chats, laughter, and camaraderie made the day special.
