Making a Covenant

This year has been full of rain and storms unlike previous drought years here in California. I have heard terrible tales across America, so rain and floods are minor compared to some other states.

That makes driving in the rain a given this year. On Saturday December 17th, I drove from Redding to Sacramento (in the rain) to attend Corina's baptism. The rest of Nate's family decided not to go as there were reports of illness from a few people attending and there are concerns with Emma being so young not to catch whatever is going around.

The baptism was well attending anyway. Debbie's family came, friends came, and the Adams from Concord came also. It was a very beautiful service and Corina arrived at another milestone in her life by becoming accountable to God for her life choices. She made a covenant to be a witness of Him and to obey his commandments by being baptized into the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

Debbie's father was there also, but I took their picture with someone else's camera. Life is good.
