European influence?

 Going to the Mall today, I noted the parking lot was bricks laid out nicely. It was not cobblestone as found in ancient Europe, but it does have that feel.

Is this engineered from Europe?

Too bad cars have leakage problems as otherwise this would be a really good looking parking lot

In old town Accra they have the same kind of brick walkways but as time goes on some of the bricks crack then fall out and cause little potholes for the unwary walker.
