Beautiful, Beautiful - I think this is the most beautiful place I have been since I've arrived in Ghana. I am partial to beaches and the coast, and so far I have been close to the most toxic beach in the world, working beaches that house families, pigs, horses and goats, a working fishing beach with canoes, a slaughter house for goats, a ocean front that carried slaves away, and finally Cape Three Points!!

This point is the closest you can be on land to 0 degrees longitude, 0 degrees latitude, the equator and where the next day begins in Greenwich Mean Time. |

We [Belnap family, Adams, Parry's, Evans, Dick's, and the Depain's] explored the point, the flora, fauna, beach, old and new lighthouse, goats, rocks, the beach, and enjoyed each others company! |

As we sat around eating our lunch, Brent Belnap said we needed to sing a song together while we were here. The song chosen was, "Brightly Beams Our Father's Mercy" by Philip Paul Bliss. It is appropriate as it liken's the lighthouse beam to guidance given by God.
One of the couples explained that the lower light in the chorus is very important because the lighthouse guides the captain or pilot where to come, but the lower light directs them where to come in away from or through the rocks. If the lower light is not "burning" or lit, the ship, boat, etc. doesn't have a sure direction in. We were challenged to be the lower light as missionaries to others.
