Planning for Saturday

About 2 pm on Monday afternoon, the Ofoli-Quaye ladies (Comfort and her newly returned missionary daughter Bertha) along with Nelly Gokah the new Relief Society Secretary and Baaba who was already at my house sewing, all got together for a planning session. On Saturday March 22 we planned to have a "Let Your Light Shine" talent show and exhibition. We just needed all the little parts to come together.

Who is bringing the napkins, plates, forks, cups? Who is making the sobolo drink? Make sure the tablecloths and microphones are coming. Do you know who is bringing what and who is doing what?

It was so fun to have the young ladies because they are filled with enthusiasm and have new ideas. Nelly had a game planned on stage. I had thought of singing, dancing, cooking, and showing off projects that people are putting together. Now we had a game for exhibition.  Baaba planned to come to my house on Saturday after working at the temple to pop popcorn. She was going to bring some dresses if she got them done.  Comfort would come over to finish up her dishes, and I of course was making banana bread again - along with cookies. I hoped to have a baby blanket quilt top sewn up too. Nelly would have the sobolo finished and frozen before Saturday. The plan looked good. It is always good to have a plan even though reality is usually different than the plan. At least with a plan you can go forward.

Nelly and a comfortable Comfort

Bertha and Nelly both return missionaries. Berth got back about four days ago from Cameron and Nelly has been back about month almost two. They have been friends for years
