Surprise Guests

I am not sure how the universe works, but sometimes everything will come all together.

I got a call from Juliet who decided to come over, then David called to say he was on his way, and while I was opening the gate Dumevi said he had just finished a session at the temple and wanted to come visit. I said yes to everyone and they all came within 10 minutes on top of each other.

I have know all three of these people since I first arrived in Accra. I met Juliet the first Sunday I arrived and Dumevi the next Sunday we went to the North Ridge Ward. David arrived from Nigeria and we met then.  It is a little awkward to talk with each person individually when the others are in the room. I got a call from the egg delivery man while they were all in my living room. Go figure.

So I clicked the egg man into our gate and went down with a cart to pick up the eggs. On the way in I let Juliet take the cart and talked with Dumevi outside of my door - just for a bit and I'll bet we didn't cover what he wanted to talk about. I know he plans to go to America to finish his education. Hopefully I'll see him again and see if he needs any particular help in his quest.

I think David just wanted to visit - but I know in his mind that can be five or six hours. I told him I needed to be somewhere in 45 minutes. He wanted help with people in Salt Lake City. I didn't take the bait to take on his problems but I did tell him how to contact Sister Despain on Facebook messenger - though I did tell him he should probably call her at Accra's 3 or 4 o'clock as that would make it a time in Utah that she would probably be up and aware.

Juliet wanted to be of help and was on her way to the temple. She has needs for a bigger livelihood and was checking to see if I wanted something. She left for the temple, Dumevi left shortly thereafter , and David decided to help me take the eggs to the area office for the other missionaries. He carried two flats and I carried two flats. Juliet saw us half way there and took David's flats, so when I entered the Area Office there were three of us carrying four flats to the cafeteria. Juliet peeled off and I ambled across the street with David and then went one way when he went the other. Life is interesting as well as good
