On Wednesday morning, Bernard couldn't make it to the proposed temple trip, so we left for Redding early to participate in the Gender Reveal appointment. About a third of the way up there, Kelsi texts that the doctor is sick and the appointment has been postponed a week. We arrive in the afternoon and that's when I find out that Lilly's birthday is on the 2nd not on the 3rd of August! Somewhere I slipped up in my dates.
So what happens is Lilly's party balloons end up in a big fight with Opa versus the kids (mostly the boys).
When all the fervor was over, Lilly decided it was time to hear a good book, so she asked Opa to read her a few. Being experienced he limited the number and they all had a good time.
