Jeffrey and I have determined to be better prepared the next time we venture into anyone's home to watch and play with their children while their parents are away. There is a LOT of energy that comes with children. Without a direction or focus for that energy, we notice more yelling, crying, and hurts than if there is a competitive game or idea that the children are striving for.
I couldn't help think that if I had some masking tape to make a hop scotch board, or a few bean bag games, or even a science experiment, we could have directed that energy instead of being the focus of it. I can't tell you how tired I am. Next time....
So, Saturday - So much fun!

Oliver |
Corina up a tree |
These birds were only about an inch long, most leaves were bigger than they were. |
Olive claws for James |
Debbie and Matt were leaving while Corina showed us cartwheels and headstands |
Oliver was quite good also |
A big game of hide and seek happened |
And then some tickle wars and pillow fights |
What is not pictured was the Africa Safari photo story and later that night the scripture stories, songs, and tucking them all in....well James was NOT going to sleep until his mother told him good night....but everyone else went to bed while I rocked James.
