Family Awards Night

Susan and Laura had the evening plan to have an awards night for each participant. They had really great awards according to the person and some things that they did. I don't have my copy of what was given to whom, but if you saw it, it would make you laugh. Now I know why the two of them went shopping!

Susie was the MC

She kept checking in with Laura for what was what

A great time was had by all and a feeling of joy, unity, love, and some great silliness. The boys had a camp song they kept singing about "the bottom of the sea." Being on a boat during storms it was apropos.

Later we went out to have ice-cream with Dean and played games. We didn't want the night to end.

Somewhere on one of the board room adventures, we played this fun game with dice. Everyone had 10 dice and would throw them to get all one number. You would roll the remaining dice until you got them all the same number. When someone in the group got their number, you had to start all over again on the number you were trying for. Allen and I played together, mostly with me throwing and he would grab the correct numbers. Donna won even with her dark colored numbers in blue dice. I thought it was a doable game with the older grandchildren.
