Getting to London

David and Diann had been in transit from about Tuesday trying to get to England from Guam which was in the middle of Typhoon Bolaven. Someday I will get their route on a map. They visited quite a few countries.

The rest of my siblings were meeting up with each other in different places and most had two stops to get to London. Jeffrey and I got on the airplane in San Francisco and landed at the Heathrow airport - easy. Not so easy for Laura and Susan. Susan pushed Laura in a wheelchair while Laura pushed a luggage chart with a big pile of luggage. Then they had to get on the bus to Southampton which Laura described as "crazy awful".

It was fun to get reports when the participants met up and got on the plane, and then reports of when they arrived in the Heathrow airport and headed to Southampton.

Susie and Laura made it on the plane

I can't find the picture of the other siblings but there were a group that came all together.

We headed up over Canada and over Iceland and then over the Atlantic Ocean to London!

We all had to get on a bus to take us to Southampton not quite 80 miles and an hour and a half to two hours depending on traffic. Everyone had been awake for many hours.
