Tenders and lines - long lines

We did not dock in Edinburgh. Tenders took us from the ship to shore and back. The back was epic. Too many people and not enough tenders running. I hadn't thought how you would take thousands of people off a ship and thousands of people back on again. Everyone must have decided to come back at the same time. We all stood around in icy wind waiting for another tender to show up and make the line a little shorter.

One good thing about my family is we know how to make friends. Several week-long friendships begin by standing in line.

Where is the end of this line ----  around the corner and down the side of the hotel

Finding the end of the line around the corner of the hotel by the dock

You can't see it from here but that gate by the lighthouse is full of locks

I was happy to see Laura and Susie forward in line to get on the tender

If you look super close to the fourth window you can see Polly's white glove and face. Susie is behind.
We came two or three tenders later.

There are different doors to get on the ship. This one was lower than most.
