Have you ever heard of Africa PeopleGrove?

My friends

The YSA Missionaries in the Area Office and other places have launched a PeopleGrove for the Young Single Adults in West Africa - though I doubt it is limited to just the West of Africa.

The missionaries who return home have a difficult climb to get education and a job. Many who have finished their education in college have no prospects of getting a job. There are not enough businesses to hire many young recruits.

The idea behind Africa PeopleGrove is for the lower living economy to become a boost instead of a determent to getting a living wage. If a person in America wants to pay a lower wage than what is given in the United States, it would be a higher living wage to those in Africa. Same training from colleges and schools, but mutual gratitude for a good wage on both parts.

On Just Serve, I find it interesting that the contact person for Africa PeopleGrove, Dale Munk is coming out to Africa West Area next week to be in charge of a segment of the YSA. Check it out!   https://www.justserve.org/projects/57337f7f-4520-409d-84bb-0cb3f26c281b

One time jobs or steady employment, everything can be of help and aid to thousands of young Africans without a lot of prospects or opportunities if you can offer any kind of remote work. Data Entry, Coding, transcription, tutor, Medical billing, Business Billing, programmers, graphic designer,  translation, etc., etc.

My heart of course is with my ward members who are going to college in the capital of Accra, or going to Pathways, or doing their year of service hoping they will get a job in the near future. Many feel they cannot marry because they cannot afford a family.

So if something moves you to want to sign up and be of help, (or just want to look around) here is the access to Africa PeopleGrove:
