Life is Good

Christmas week was so full of fun things. That Sunday we had an hour of church and then Kate and her family came over. Her father, her brother, and Kate. Her mom couldn't come and her sister is married with a family. We had a very enjoyable time - And I FORGOT to take a picture. When I asked for a picture, Kate sent back some really cute videos (her mom dances very well). Anyway, it was a great start to a week of meeting with people and doing different things.

I will explain some of our adventures in the next posts and just show you a few things around here.

One: the great Security Guards who do more than watch over us. I have a little bit of a problem when I call some of the restaurants because of communication --or rather the lack thereof. When I ask the security guards to order a meal brought in (of course I include their meal also) they are really good about figuring out how to get the orders here. Sometimes they hire an uber, sometimes a food service, and sometimes they go get it themselves!  Sunshine Cafe shouldn't be missed if you come to Accra. Their salads are really awesome and the best I have had in Ghana. They serve many other things that I have no complaints about at all. Good food.

Order is in!

For taking anything heavy up and down two floors we have the handy-dandy cart that travels very well.

Water, groceries, suitcases, and other sundries. It is the little things that make life comfortable.

Pulled the cart up to load suitcases
