Comfort came on Friday as she had a wedding on Thursday. It was a very interesting start to the day. Bobby had come to clean, Comfort came to bring bananas and cook for us. Juliet came to be of help, get cedis for the drinks she makes for Monday and I had started baking.
I told Bobby not to even worry about the kitchen as we were using it. He started on the rest of the house while I put a couple of loaves in and Comfort made jollof rice for my company on Sunday. Just as she finished, the girl called to say her parents were going to a funeral so they wouldn't be coming on Sunday. I told Comfort, "no worries, we'll enjoy a dish or two now, I will freeze it and have something ready if someone drops by." I hope she wasn't disappointed. I was just grateful. I think Bobby enjoyed it for lunch very much. I had to tone it down with white rice and then it was delicious!
Of course, Bobby could not leave until the kitchen was clean. He saved it for last and when Comfot stepped out, he cleaned it while I got ready to leave for my temple shift. I don't know when he left, I just hope it wasn't late.
