Laura Nausin turned 60 this year, so her husband Dana invited us to come celebrate oceanside in Bodega Bay. They paid for the whole trip and just asked us, the Kruse, and Carter families to come along with them. What a grand time we had!
The ocean and bay was ever changing and beautiful.
We enjoyed each other's company. Good chats, good food, learned to play pinochle, and finished a jigsaw puzzle. Between rain showers we took a walk to the beach. One or two people enjoyed the hot tub. It was a nice, leisurely week with good friends.
And of course we gave Laura presents of things she would need in her 60's.....
