Connections We Make (In Kenya)

During one night of the ACLARS conference, the ALC from the Africa Central Area invited all the OGC attendees to come for dinner at their home. The weather was divine and Nairobi is beautiful. We jumped into a van and enjoyed a really nice dinner, but more importantly we connected with others serving missions as lawyers (or their wives) from all over Africa.

The van picked us up at the hotel and was full so it was easy to have conversations.

Little and big conversations all over the house. We were offered small bits of appetizers as we talked.

We had a very lovely meal that was banquet style made and served by a chef and his aides. The weather was so nice we could sit on the porch or mingle and talk with those inside. I wanted to record who was who, so I took individual couples. That way I could remember who is who.

Jerie was indisposed but Bob Jacobs came to join with us.

I didn't take pictures of the Adams and Burtons or Brent - I know who we are!

It was a very nice night to make friends and enjoy the company of people who were experiencing
the same life, problems, blessings, and miracles that we were.
