Long flight over the ocean

My seat mate going to New York was a very friendly and nice girl whose parents had lived in Nigeria, came to America and she was born in Missouri. It was very interesting what happened when she heard, "Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints." She started talking all about God and different perceptions. Truthfully I didn't get some of it. She was very talkative and has a great smile.

After two glasses of wine, she slept for a few hours and I don't think she remembers our conversation at the beginning. After she woke up she was just as friendly but talked about other things. Maybe I'll see her another day.

After customs it was quite a shock to see drinking fountains, trash bins, and electrical outlets by every seat. I gear up mentally to go to Accra, but was taken by surprise coming to America.

Another four hour wait for my next plane to North Carolina. I finished up the rest of Wyatt's quilt binding and that night got on a very small plane. Matthew and Michael would have hit their heads on the ceiling.

Did you know the Charlotte airport has rocking chairs to watch the views?!  So cool!

Andrew was right there to pick me up at the curbside. He said we got in early, nice. There was no one asking if I wanted a ride, no one selling me anything, no vendors weaving through traffic. It takes just a little getting used too.

Andrew and Briona have a new car! They picked a big one for the babies and transporting stuff. It is great. It was so good to see them. Wyatt is wonderful!
