Thursday with blessings

On Thursday in the late morning, Michael comes over with the two girls - who had a great time at their Aunt and Uncle's house - and told me the girls needed a bath! That was so true because they had been to the park with Matthew and Debbie and then to the park again that morning with Andrew and Amber. There is nothing so fun as running around the park and working up a good sweat! After their shower, he played with Isla and Makynlee for awhile before he had to go back to the hospital with Julia - where more mini miracles happened for her good.

Michael has this cool music he plays when making a 'train' for the girls. It even has a train whistle in it.

That night he brought Julia home to our house! It was so nice to see her again and looking good. One of the nurses gave Julia some scrubs as Michael had taken her bloody clothes away.  Julia has more recovery to do in the next 10 days and had to get training from the nurses on her care. But at least she doesn't have to stay in the hospital now.

Since we are having another mini family reunion with Kelsi and Nate's family, I went shopping with Briona. It was so much fun watching Amber wave to the other customers and point out all the ceiling fans with her cute smile. She got a lot of attention from other shoppers as she is so cute.

Michael and Julia were so tired they took a nap. Since it was getting later, I fed the girls supper and got them ready for bed. We all went to bed early as it has been a long week. Of course the girls woke up early, so I made waffles again - successfully with no mishaps. After a late morning they went home and Jeffrey and I washed all the sheets and towels - hanging everything out to dry - then cleaned up the house in preparation for Nate and Kelsi's family visit!

It is so great to have family around. Many, many blessing from God.
