Watching the humming birds and the birds off of Susie's porch triggered a memory of Nathan Belnap and so I texted Lorinda and sent her a memory that popped up on my goggle photos. We chatted back and forth and then the Belnaps invited us out to dinner. We got to see their incredible house (that they had rebuilt) where Brent had grown up. Evidently Lorinda grew up in close to the same place. So after all their epic journeys to New York, Russia, the East, and Africa they are now back in the home he grew up in - though is is spectacular now and is very high end. Lorinda's quilting is really amazing to behold. She just got a new pile of fabric from Japan. I can't even imagine what fabulous creations she will come up with now.
We ate at a fantastic restaurant and then walked over to Farr's Ice Cream and chatted some more. What a wonderful evening!!!
