Taking out the planter boxes

I just had to go up and ask why they were putting the tarp up over the car port. The construction workers said it would make the cars cooler when someone got in and protect the cars from the sun and rain. That sounded like a very good reason to me. I wonder if they will put tarps up over the cars in the area office? There used to be planter boxes between the parking spots, but they took those out as the boxes plus the tarp support bars were too big and took up car space. Good to know the sound reason for all this construction.
