LA Adams View: Pizza Saturday

Pizza Saturday

Yay it was pizza Saturday. Normally Nate and Kelsey have pizza on Fridays along with a movie. But when they came for the Thanksgiving Holiday, we asked if they would have pizza and a movie on Saturday instead. Yes.

In the beginning of the day, we had lots of fun. The little cousins had this really cool game where Corina would throw a ball to Caleb and Caleb would catch it and throw it back to her and she'd catch it with a little sticky pad. Jayson, Caleb, Oliver, and Corina had a good time out in the sun. All of the cousins were running around in the yard and of course Yukon was there too. Later in the afternoon they played at the park. All the cousins - well except for Amber in North Carolina - but all the rest of the cousins were at the park. They all had a great time playing on the equipment and running around.

Then of course we had our pizza, so everybody had different kinds of pizza that Opa bought from Papa Murphy’s. They watched a movie. So we had pizza night with a movie; and then everybody started to go home. Mike and Julia with their girls went home. Debbie and Matthew with all their kids went home. Just Nate and Kelsi with Jason, Caleb, Lily, and Emma were left. The next morning, we went to church then came back and had Zupa Tuscana. After all was packed up in their car, they went home. It was so quiet in the house, there was nobody there. Jeffrey and I loved having the families it was a really great ending to a good Thanksgiving vacation.

Interestingly enough, we only had a few pies and some turkey soup left over. Nice! Turkey and trimmings, Prime Rib, Pizzas, and Zupa Tuscana with all the accompanying salads, vegetables, breadies, pies, ice-cream as desserts – it all worked out perfectly with few left overs.
