Saturday respect for busy mamas

Ah Emma, beautiful, sweet, sick baby. She mostly wanted to be held all day. Only one half hour nap. I spent most of the day holding her on the couch or in the rocking chair.

Luckily, Jeffrey was able to take the kids on a trip to miniature golf which they said they'd never done. He said they all got a hole in one except for him. The golf trainer was done in by all each of the kids. Jeffrey forgot to take pictures while at the golf course.

As the day wore on, I thought about mamas right now taking care of children while tired, busy, and rushed. It has been a very long time since I had lots of kids and no energy. Well, now I have no muscles that aren't hurting, a cranky baby, and a dread because she isn't drinking water or any fluids.

Luckily that evening, Kelsi texted us and answered me with some tips she uses for Emma. The whole family was excited when Emma picked up her sippy cup and drank some water on her own!!

We were all quietly excited when she drank a few sips all by herself!

We had a nice evening with Emma going to bed quickly (probably too tired to resist). All of Kelsi's children are very polite and nice with specific chores that they do and schedules that they follow. My appreciation for Kelsi is high.
