Last Sunday we had the Agodzo family for dinner. Brother Francis Agodzo has applied and been accepted for school at Utah Valley University to get his master degree. BUT, the US Embassy here in Ghana is notoriously slow and sometimes unaccommodating to those who are getting visas. He had to defer a year because the earliest date they would give him to get an appointment was next year in the summer. So the plans to go to Utah have been put off a year.
Jeffrey gave him all the advise he currently knows about visas and a little help. I really hope this wonderful family came make their dreams come true and get the education and jobs they are striving for.
