Sheer hard work

It was astonishing to watch men working on the temple grounds without machines and cranes, just sheer hard work and muscles.

There were taking heavy rocks in aluminum pans and walking up the stairs to the next level to put the rocks in. I have no idea what the rocks were for or what they did, but I did appreciate just how strong and adept these men were.

This entire pile of rock disappeared in a day - one wheelbarrow at a time

Talking with one of the men, he asked how it would be done in America. I told him there would probably be a crane hauling the rocks over to where it needed to be.
